| 18215 | 2001-09-05 01:22:00 | As anyone got any idea how I could print the results of a search? Handwriting is out of the question as it involves over 1400 files. I'm housekeeping my MP3s that are scattered everywhere on my pc, with duplicates compounding the problem. If I could print off my search results I could sit down and mark off the the duplicates, find all others and at least have a list of what we have. I have tried a couple of duplicate file managers but they don't quite do what I want. Any help would be appreciated thanks. | Guest (0) | ||

At the dos prompt try: dir C:\*.mp3 /s/b > C:\mp3list.txt (all on one line if Press F1 messes it up) The list will be saved as C:\mp3list.txt (or change the name of you want) then just open the file like any other text file. |
