| 18181 | 2001-09-04 19:57:00 | I seem to keep getting disconnected from telecom for some reason. It only seems to happen on this comp but my other comp with telecom works good. Is there a way to fix this. |

| 18182 | 2001-09-05 08:55:00 | Are you with XTRA, I was with xtra a while ago and was getting disconnected as often as 20mins. They blamed the phone line etc, which was what I though was the problem. Then I changed to Paradise.Net and the problem went away (as well as faster connects). I'm not sure but I think its related to the 083 ... number that Xtra uses, and it has lower priority at the exchange (or somthing like that it was a while ago). If you are with Xtra, I would recommend finding another ISP as their service is horrible. I used to recommend Paradise net but this changed my mind: www.idg.net.nz |
