Previoulsy my latop was connected to net via proxy server 'analogX' on hose machine, now I want to direct connect, achieve dial up ok. Have altered all settings that I can think of for IE and Netscape ( the same setting I initially changed to make it work ) but not connection, everything I know points to direct connection but nothing. dead. Am I missing something? |

Try making a new dialup connection, then see if it can connect to your ISP without going through explorer or netscape. This would be a start. |

Hi KO,Tried that, tried reinstalling browsers as well, altering all settings under server fields and internet options in contral panel, connections tab, still no luck. |
