18135 2001-09-03 22:21:00 Recently i built my own PC and i works perfectly, except when it comes time to install windows. I can manage to format c drive but cannot install windows, at this point the only drives avaiable are c: and a:. I have got a feeling that its something to do with not being able to access the cd drive can any one help me? Guest (0)

and download one of the win95 files at the bottom of the page (for your version of win). This program will create a startup disk with CD Drive support.

18137 2001-09-04 00:29:00 The other option is to go into your BIOS and see whether you can set it to boot from the CD-Rom device. Some BIOS's will allow this. Then you can boot straight from the Windows CD. Guest (0)
