| 18133 | 2001-09-03 22:15:00 | I have just loaded this (TweakUI)from the CD supplied with PC World, it has copied the files. What next? no instructions, no install proceedure nothing tells me what to do? I have tried to open the files but they try to read from Win98. This came preinstlled on my system so I do not have a disk. Any help would be appreciated as I have been told this is a good program to sort out some minor hiccups with the system. | Guest (0) | ||
| 18134 | 2001-09-03 22:29:00 | I take it you have run the .exe file and unzipped the 4 files somewhere on your hard drive... Find where those 4 files are (they are all named 'tweakui' with different extensions), then right-click on the one with the .inf extension and choose 'install' from the menu that appears. There will now be a TweakUI icon in your control panel. Happy tweaking! |
