| 18123 | 2001-09-03 20:13:00 | Are you sure you are using the right cable between the splitter and the computer? You need a parallel cable, not a serial - they can look the same. Then of course, check the basics - are the cables all seated firmly? |

| 18124 | 2001-09-03 21:53:00 | Thanks for reply. What is the diff between a serial & // cable.? Is a // cable thicker. Connectors are the same as the two cables from printers excepting that the switch box cable is male to male. |
