18151	2001-09-04 05:54:00	Hi, I need help with i.e 5.0. I have tried to upgrade to i.e 5.5 but get a message saying a previous installation of i.e 5 setup is still in use and reboot to continue. I tried to install i.e 6 off the net but get the same message. I did try and install 5.5 off your cd a while ago but I did not continue now I cannot seem to install anything else! I can't even uninstall ie 5 through add and remove programs as it only says repair or add a component any ideas out there? Cheers Chris.	Guest (0)
18152	2001-09-04 09:10:00	Have you tried the 'Repair' option? You might have a corrupted install log, which will cause your inability to uninstall. Try repairing, uninstalling, and then installing your new copy of 5.5. Just a thought.......	Guest (0)
18153	2001-09-05 10:09:00	look for the dll file 'ieinstall' and delete, this worked for me, you should then be able to instal IE 6	Guest (0)
