| 18391 | 2001-09-07 11:34:00 | When looking at the sizes of some programs, I noticed that the windows folder (c:\windows) was 350MB and it took up nearly 470MB. ('469,367,680 bytes used'). Is there anything that Ican do to change that to free up some HDD space? |

The internet exploiter 'Tempory Internet Files' by default can get absolutely huge. Delete everything in it, then using the internet control panel, to limit its size to ~10-20MB. I would do a clean install, its the only real solution. About once a year seems to keep it under control (although im about every 6 months). |
