I have happily had my scanner working with the parallel port mode set at EPP for years. I have recently added a parallel port Zip drive attached to the scanner which works fine. But now my scanner (KTX9600AP) jumbles up the image scanned! I tried changing the parallel port mode to ECP and ECP + EPP with no luck. It did however work fine set at normal (but of course it's now slow). I uninstalled the scanner driver and reinstalled without any success either. I even disconnected the Zip drive - no luck!??? |
