| 18616 | 2001-09-11 00:55:00 | By error a file to open was clicked in the 'open with' option as a Publisher file. Now every time we attempt to open that type it automatically tries to open as a publisher file. 1. Is there any way to deactivate for these types of files 2. Is there any way to stop the automatic tick in the box for new types of files? Thanks |

Then goto View, Folder Options, FileTypes in any explorer window. Scroll down the list to find the name matching the description of the file. Then hit remove. |
