| 18601 | 2001-09-10 17:17:00 | I use excel formatting a lot and get frustrated everytime as there are a lot of formatts in the customise options whereas i just want it to show about 7 i use all the time, because you can customise anyway if you need to. any suggestions? | Guest (0) | ||

I use Excel 2000, and I can hit the delete button for customised formats that I have created, just can't get rid of the standard ones (standard customised formats? How is that possible). Anyway, I hit the END key when that list comes up, makes it faster to get to my ones at the bottom. Also, you could create some macros and attach them to buttons on the toolbar if you wanted to use a limited set of formatting types. You could then include other things like word wrapping (which I like to turn on most of the time). Hope this helps, Rob. |
