18554 2001-09-10 05:31:00 I've got win95 and when I 1st got it I downloaded lots of programs and when I got sick of them or found they weren't to my liking etc I removed the folders and took out the registry entries then found out about the control panel.Wow!heaps easier, but now I've got all these programs in add/remove that won't leave.how can I get rid of the entries and make sure theres nothing left of them short of tracking them all down and re-installing them again. 18555 2001-09-10 05:47:00 Get a copy of TweakUI (from MS).
Install it, goto TweakUi control panel, add/remove tab.

18556 2001-09-10 22:41:00 Find a copy of Add remove Cleaner possibly at Tucows and install it. It does the same job as TweakUI but you don't have to run it from the Control Panel Guest (0)
18557 2001-09-11 09:06:00 In addition to the above I would be keen on using a program like Easyclean to get rid of any registry entries you may have missed(its good for getting rid of unnecessary files to) Guest (0)
