I've got win95 and when I 1st got it I downloaded lots of programs and when I got sick of them or found they weren't to my liking etc I removed the folders and took out the registry entries then found out about the control panel.Wow!heaps easier, but now I've got all these programs in add/remove that won't leave.how can I get rid of the entries and make sure theres nothing left of them short of tracking them all down and re-installing them again. |

Get a copy of TweakUI (from MS).
Install it, goto TweakUi control panel, add/remove tab. |

Find a copy of Add remove Cleaner possibly at Tucows and install it. It does the same job as TweakUI but you don't have to run it from the Control Panel |

In addition to the above I would be keen on using a program like Easyclean to get rid of any registry entries you may have missed(its good for getting rid of unnecessary files to) |
