| 18539 | 2001-09-10 02:24:00 | Today I tried twice to Download and Install Quicktime v 5.0 Both dowmloads were successful. However when the installation had finished and I tried to use Q/T by clicking on the 'provided'icon I received the following message-'Quicktime failed to initialise.Error #-2093. Please make sure Quicktime is properly installed on the Computer.'I have been tothe Apple help site but don't seem to be able to resolve this - Can someone help please?? Many Thanks. |

| 18540 | 2001-09-10 02:48:00 | If you have IE6 then I think support for it is broken which may be causing the problem. If you don't have IE6, try removing the previous installation and any others you may have (eg 2,3,4). Running RegClean on your system should remove all the quicktime stuff. Then try reinstalling (to save time make a copy of QuickTimeInstallCache.qdat). |
