| 18705 | 2001-09-12 10:37:00 | I am running win98 with two hard drives and in windows explorer EVERY folder, including subfolders folders has a little box with a cross next to it (you know, the box to show that the folder can be expanded). However there is something wrong as some of these folders dont even expand. Why is this and how do you fix this? Any help appreciated Cheers Matt |

On the examples I have seen it doesn't seem to be consistent but doesn't cause any problems either. I'd suggest ignore it or use the repair option in Internet Explorer, or reinstall Windows if it is causing problems - I know you wanted to hear that |
