| 18658 | 2001-09-11 11:08:00 | hi, i had a zip drive installed in my 3 week old computer using win ME It shows zip drive icon in my computer but when i try to copy to it from a program using copy function it calls itself floppy B yet desktop icon and mu computer shoe b as a zip drive, iused in the installation disc supplied mybe i should use me drivers? any help appreciated thanks simon |

I have a ZIP drive made by Panasonic, and where the jumpers are for setting whether it is a Master, Slave or CS, there are two options: 'Drive is A:' and 'Drive is not A:' If you have it set up as 'Drive is A:', it will behave like it is a floppy drive and call itself A: or B: in Windows Explorer. |
