18645 2001-09-11 09:45:00 I often see references to the temperature that CPU chips are running at. Does Windows have software built in that one can monitor the temperature the processor is running at? Guest (0)
18646 2001-09-11 10:15:00 Windows does not come with software to detect CPU temperature, but most m/boards come with a driver CD which usually contains a program that will do this for you. Or do a search on downloads.com for a hardware monitor. Guest (0)

18648 2001-09-12 08:46:00 Of course you need a motherboard that has a temperature sensor under the CPU socket, else the software is no use :-) Guest (0)
