18773 2001-09-13 23:16:00 I've got a new MSI MS-6380 motherboard. It has a small slot described as a Communications Network Riser (CNR). Haven't been able to figure out what I can do with it. Is it audio, modem or network...or all three?
Is there any hardware available to use it? Is it as good or better than PCI?
Cheers,
Barry Joyce

18774 2001-09-13 23:47:00 i don't know of any cnr cards and i wouldn't want to. cnr is basicly for winmodems etc(use cpu cycles to cut costs). use the pci slot with a good hardware modem. Guest (0)
