18754	2001-09-13 12:03:00	We keep getting doc file attachments, all from the same place, that we can't open through Eudora. They contain spaces and if we rename them without the spaces they open ok. Could someone please let me know if spaces are not allowed in doc files? thanks... Ken	Guest (0)

I assume they look something like this: Monthly Budget Report.doc My guess is that it is caused by the file association not being setup correctly. You need to tell it that the spaces are part of the name, not seperate files which they are also used to seperate. To do this, in an Explorer windows, goto view, folder options. Select the file types tab. Scroll down to Microsoft Word Document. Press Edit, Select Open, Press Edit. In the textbox 'Application used....' add: '%1' to the end of the line.	Guest (0)
