could someone tell me about the 0867 number is it still operating with telecom and clear? and is there a cost to it. Do you have to pay? any info would be appreciated.. Thanks.. |

Hi there...yes I am with xtra and I use this prefix to access the internet. I am on a flat rate per month for unlimited usage and as far as I know this is a free call number. |

The 0867 number is a free dialling number but with some internet service providers you still have to be within a certain area otherwise you need to use another number which may incur a toll call |

Hi. Pam thanks for that, when telecom came up with this # there was a cost at the time to the user who was using (Clear) to access the net of 2 cents per min.over a certain length of time. I think it was Geoff Palmer of N.Z. PC. World who took them to task over this charge,something about the KIWI SHARE.I just wanted to know do people still use this # to get a certain amount of FREE access to the net perhaps Geoff can help me with this?? |
