18891 2001-09-15 21:36:00 Suspecting I had a virus, I ran a virus scanner. This revealed that 'Troj SIRCAM.A' was on 3 files and suggested they be deleted, which I did. One of these files was SirC32.exe., and now my computer wont run.
Help.....

18893 2001-09-16 00:14:00 What were the other two files that were infected and you deleted?

During an infection by SirCam it will copy the file \Windows\Rundll32.exe to \Windows\Run32.exe and overwrite Rundll32.exe with its own version. This is a crutial file for the operation of windows. Restore Rundll32.exe and any other deleted system files from the windows CD.

Deleting the files will not have completely removed the virus since many registry changes still remain. You should download and run the SirCam removal tool to remove all traces.
