| 18888 | 2001-09-15 21:31:00 | Every time I reboot my computer the desk top icons revert to an earlier setting. How can I make them hold their place regardless of shut downs? Running Microsoft 98 Thanks for past help, Bruce |

| 18889 | 2001-09-16 06:23:00 | Single right click anywhere in the desktop and have a look at the menu offered, one of them should be Arrange Icons by date,name,auto arrange, etc. If you have a tick against Auto Arrange that is likely your problem, remove the tick and see what happens.
