18780 2001-09-13 23:39:00 I've got a new MSI MS-6380 motherboard. It has a CNR slot.
What does it do?
Is there any hardware available for it?
Is it an improvement on PCI?
cheers,
Barry Joyce

18782 2001-09-14 03:30:00 I wouldn't even call it pretty :-).

Its a standard for connecting winmodems, and winsounds cards.

It is not better than PCI, all devices that use it require CPU power to run.
