| 18853 | 2001-09-15 00:26:00 | Incredible, Xtra unable to help me? Anyway, we need to have another Dial Up Networking Icon for the Internet Connection. Made a new connection OK, (lets call it Atom) but I dont know how to assign a new User Name to it. Nor apparantly did the Xtra help desk person, 'call back to Business Solutions on Monday'. What ever, if your instructions work Ill save myself a copy of it onto disk. Cheers....John jhw@xtra.co.nz Thanks in anticipation....John |

Double click on the new connection, and when the dialogue comes up for that, you should be able to enter in a new name and password, and that should save for that connection IF you connect with it properly. It won't save without it connecting. If you want it to save password, you'll have to make it save password on both connections, otherwise it won't save either (stupid problem, but they've never fixed it). It should automatically remember the user name though for each connection, but as I say, only AFTER you've connected with that name. |
