18839	2001-09-14 22:30:00	Just thought I would let you know that it looks like Microsoft have done something right. I have just installed a pre release version of XP professional, I was given a full report of what conflicts I may experience and advised the appropriate course of action. The install went perfectly..an absolute first !! and all seems to be working great. The software issues that I had been warned of were easily overcome by visiting the respective sites for updated drivers etc. Not said often enough , but well done Microsoft. Oh, I almost forgot, MS reccomends a minimum of 128mb RAM, bu the machine I am using this on has only 64 at this stage and is working great, I know I wont be able to use some of the great editing features until I upgrade, but so far so good. 18844	2001-09-15 19:31:00	I agree. I've been useing it for three weeks. I loaded it on top of win98 se, and it was the easiest install I have done since DOS 6. I had to install an updated driver for my sound card but apart from that not a single problem of any sort. It certainly is an improvement for MS.	Guest (0)
