| 19037 | 2001-09-18 23:45:00 | I recently installed Paint shop Pro 5 on my computer and it took over the file associations for all .jpg, .gif, & .bmp's. Annoyed me greatly! I have re-associated the files with IE but their icons are now all IE's instead of the jpg and gif icons. Also each picture opened comes up on a new IE page which is time consuming and not practical. How do I get my pictures to open in one IE browser page and get their proper icons back? I am running Windows 98 2nd edition. | Guest (0) | ||

Scroll down to find 'JPEG file' or similar. Hit edit, then change icon. Browse to the above file and choose the icon you want. I'm not sure about the now IE window. Personally I find IrfanView a much better viewer (www.irfanview.com). |
