| 19020 | 2001-09-18 22:21:00 | Hi, This time, I have a problem removing a corrupted file. Half way through encoding a wma music file to mp3 format, I changed my mind, and hit cancel. The software I was using (DMC Music Converter previously known as Shuffler Music Converter) still created a small corrupted file with an mp3 extensiion. When ever I try to click-on or select the file, explorer crashes with the following error message: Explorer has caused an error in XANALYZE.dll etc etc If I try to delete the file using a DOS-Prompt (I am using ME so cannot boot to dos), I get access denied errors. If I try to remove it using Iolo's System mechanic, I get the following error: Sysmechanic has caused an error in KRNL386.dll etc etc If I try to write over the file by converting another track with the same name, I get the following error message: dbPowerAmp has caused an error in wma.dll etc etc. Help! How can I get rid of this pesky file. |
