| 19018 | 2001-09-18 20:53:00 | Recently I received a virus via email, which my Norton Anti-Virus dealt with. Now, whenever I turn the computer on, a window is opened up, showing on the task bar. When opened, there is a message which reads 'WININIT.EXE cannot be run from within Windows' How do I get rid of this. | Guest (0) | ||

What I had was a virus, and so here's the web address for the Fix from Norton. If I remember right, Norton Antivirus doesn't fix it (dunno why) but here's instructions to fix it: www.symantec.com I hope this helps |
