| 18949 | 2001-09-16 23:36:00 | Can anyone help me please. I have been writing Cds for ages with no problems on an HP 8200e (external usb) A new problem has developed that stops the CD writing process at the approx 70% completed mark. the error message is 'Write failed, bus reset detected' This message appears in 3 writing programs I use and I have made a dozen coasters. I have reformatted the hd, installed the latest usb drivers, the latest firmware for the CD writer, The latest drivers for motherboard and chipset but nothing seems to work. I am assuming a bus reset is a usb problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Billy |
