19154 2001-09-21 05:02:00 There are a number of things that could be causing this. I hope I can remember all of them, and correctly as well!

1. Try deleting your .pwl file (file that's supposed to store the passwords for you) then restart and enter in the passwords again and see if that works.

2. If that doesn't work, check your network settings under control panel. Try changing the Primary Windows Logon from Windows Logon to Client for Microsoft Networks, or vice versa, and see if that works.

3. If you have other connections that you occasionally use, you have to also set these to save password (either they all must be saved, or none will. I don't know why).

4. I'm sure there was a fourth one, but I can't remember :) maybe someone else knows what it is?

Hope one of these help, or that someone else provides another solution!

19155 2001-09-21 06:08:00 Hi Bob

I passed on a link in your earlier post about this (Goldfish memory post, one of two) but it seems to have gone offline
(www.geocities.com)

Anyway - here is another site - you can look around at other pages here too

Good luck

19156 2001-09-21 08:02:00 There is one other place to look, control panel/internet options/connections/highlight your default connection/settings/make sure your user name and password are down the bottom there. Guest (0)
