| 19141 | 2001-09-21 03:07:00 | Whenever I work with wave files and burn them to cds there are always different volume levels between the tracks. This is hard to pick up when I play them. But it's annoying having to adjust the playback volume for each track. Is there a software program that will normalise(I think this is the term) the tracks to a consistent level.One that doesn't cost much or none at all. Stan |

| 19142 | 2001-09-21 04:42:00 | Hello Stan, Yes normalising its called, if you would like to go to www.download.com and in the search type normalize there are a couple of freebies there. you will have to convert from mp3 to wave file before normalising and convert back to mp3 if desired, and you will end up with 3 different files of the same song. Personally, I use mediajukebox which normalises before it burns cds, converts, etc. cheers, Bob |
