| 1279591 | 2012-06-04 06:37:00 | I have an external harddrive with a usb and esata ports. The usb port has gone loose and I want to use the esata port to run a cable to a usb port on my laptop. Is this possible? where can I get a cable eSata to Usb? Cheers, Stichs |

| 1279592 | 2012-06-04 06:42:00 | looks like possible: www.addonics.com assuming can get in NZ. other options: replace the case with a new one. get a eSATA card and use eSATA instead. eSATA is also quicker than USB2. www.trademe.co.nz |

| 1279594 | 2012-06-06 07:47:00 | The cheapest easiest solution is going to be pull your hard drive from its existing case, and install it in a new one. Here's a bunch from Ascent in NZ (no relationship to me) www.ascent.co.nz For a cool, perhaps less practical solution, you might want to look at this: Lian Li BZ-U07 Multi-Media I/O Port, Black, Dual e-SATA/Quad USB www.lian-li.com Info from Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org |
