1279012 2012-06-02 00:04:00 6450... because it is better. Slankydudl (16687)
1279013 2012-06-02 00:16:00 Neither because they are both a waste of money. icow (15313)
1279014 2012-06-02 00:45:00 You'd be better off saving up a bit more and getting a second hand 4850/70 for like $95/110 from GP. icow (15313)
1279015 2012-06-02 01:13:00 I'm not up with ATI cards, but at that price they wouldn't be much good for gaming. Look at spending between $300 to $500 if you are into gaming.

1279016 2012-06-02 05:12:00 The 6450 is twice as powerful but neither is a gaming card. It would be a good Idea if you told us what you hope to achieve and at what sort of price then we could offer some better advice.
Also my personal opinions are always proper :P

1279017 2012-06-02 05:55:00 The newer one - the 6450, and Gigabyte is a good brand. pctek (84)
1279018 2012-06-02 07:42:00 6450, it's not that good though, a better option would be the GeForce gt520 probably the best low profile card at a reasonable price www.pp.co.nz

It's not to bad a card as I can play Rage on highest graphics, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Burnout Paradise, Far Cry 2 (on Medium graphics) , Crysis (on Medium graphics).......pretty good for the price.

1279019 2012-06-02 08:14:00 At what resolution are you playing rage on? Your CPU and graphics card are only just above the minimum. icow (15313)
1279020 2012-06-02 10:03:00 1080x720p i think, something with 4 digits by 3 digits. It's quite amazing what my PC can still play. ChazTheGeek (16619)
