1256726 2012-01-31 09:55:00 God no, the newer stuff is just terrible. Priest had a kind of second surge of popularity when I was at college around 1992 in England, still sounds good now :) Contented (15925)
1256727 2012-01-31 12:38:00 Heh.
Sonny jim wanted me to transfer some of his music to his SD card for his phone.
He got a bit more on the way past, one of which was Victim of Changes :)

My additions to the old man genre...

1256731 2012-01-31 18:58:00 I do quite like the heavy guitar work of some of the newer stuff - this Pantera cover is a good example www.youtube.com as is Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth. Saying that, it's no better than Sabbath's Iron Man Intro or early Metallica's Leper Messiah (before they got all pretentious and started taking symphonies to concerts) - the old stuff still rules.
Aside from Iron Maiden in Auckland, I've not been to a proper concert since GnR in 1991 and 1992, age is coming to get me :(
