| 1256426 | 2012-01-29 08:58:00 | You gotta love the reasoning for this one (www.dailymail.co.uk) - strangely from a Labour MP in UK. Why haven't the riots broken out here? | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||

| 1256431 | 2012-01-30 02:02:00 | I'm against. I was smacked as a child, I don't think it helped and I do get fed up with hearing the whole 'I was smacked as a child and it did me good' justification people use. My kids can be little sods, same as any other but to even consider raising a hand to them.. just seems wrong to me, teaching a kid violence is wrong and yet hitting them. Personally it's not a case of 'as part of good parenting, a light smack is ok', it's more 'as part of good parenting, it shouldn't be necessary'. My opinion only of course, but there's a woman we know who smacks her kids and it's made ours appreciate that 'it could be worse, you could live with her'. | Contented (15925) | ||

Because people in NZ are so brainwashed that they will let the Gov and local bodies walk all over them. As long as they can still get "Rugby, racing, bear and Lotto" they are quite happy. |

As long as they can still get "Rugby, racing, bear and Lotto" they are quite happy. I have no interest whatsoever in rugby, racing and lotto. But this bear sounds interesting - what do you do with the bear exactly?? | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||
