Your comment about Maori is incredibly stupid given the content of the article is about racism. But what is really funny is that Cicero hasn't only shot himself in the foot with his subsequent comment, he's blown himself to smithereens. A spectacular own goal and your continuing to write comments about it just digs you in a bigger and bigger hole. You can't play the role of conservative for years on here and then fail to realise the article refers to people like you. Keep digging - you're proving the point of the article with every post you make, I'd have thought you had a couple more brain cells than Cicero but apparently not. Actually the article was about more than just racism. Your little rant there is a typical rant of a narcissist. The symptoms of Narcissistic personality disorder can be similar to the traits of individuals with strong self-esteem and confidence, differentiation occurs when the underlying psychological structures of these traits are considered pathological. Narcissists have such an elevated sense of self-worth that they value themselves as inherently better than others. Yet, they have a fragile self-esteem and cannot handle criticism, and will often try to compensate for this inner fragility by belittling or disparaging others in an attempt to validate their own self-worth. |

But I am curious - how can the same person have strong self esteem but have fragile self esteem, I have a science degree in psychology and I have never heard of that before. Christchurch/Lyttelton were more communistic back in the 1951 wharf strike era. Now it's more like Fanny May and lets chase property prices through the roof.
