But you surprise me, although I'd always thought of you as a bit of a banker, hearing you're big supporter of state intervention is indeed showing your colours as a left leaning commie sympathiser. Say hello to the Red Reverend and Aunty Helen, probably a matter of time before you are demanding eco friendly light bulbs, reduced shower pressure and a six lane cycle bicycle expressway to your hemp farm commune. |

I find it very amusing the fact that the trouble we are in now in regards of the global economy came about because of controls coming off the USA banking system on their request allowing the stupid sub-prime mortgage caper. We as a country would be a lot better off if the Governor of the reserve bank would reduce the interest rates making it less profitable to invest here so bringing the dollar down. So much for the market led economy when the Gov can have such influence. Please also explain if the American way is so great why do they have so many trillion of debt. |
