2012-06-03 06:58:00 | Dude, get a GT 520 it's better than 5450, it's round about the same price and it is usually 1GB DDR3. GT 520 Specs: Core clock: 810 MHz (have overclocked mine to 1 GHz before) Shader Clock : 1620 MHz Effective Memory Clock: 1333 MHz HD 5450 512 MB Specs: Core Clock: 650 MHz Effective Memory Clock: 800 Mhz The 1GB version is slightly better than the 512 MB version with a Effective Memory Clock of 1600 MHz I'd say get a GT520 because it is better than a 5450 and it's faster all round check this out: www.tomshardware.com

2012-06-03 08:48:00 | I noticed that 5450 has GDDR3 compared to gt520 that has DDR3 wats the diference between the 2 also i have asked about 6450 | jxer4567 (16665) | |
2012-06-03 09:19:00 | the 6450 is apparently better than a 520 according to this chart www.tomshardware.com so I'd go with that. Still not much of a gaming card but at that price it'll be about as good as anything | dugimodo (138) | |
2012-06-03 09:31:00 | From the specs it don't look as good as the GT 520. There is no difference between GDDR3 and DDR3 the G just stands for graphics. So really it's the same unless you are talking about RAM. | ChazTheGeek (16619) | |
2012-06-03 09:49:00 | I'd go for the one with the bigger heatsink. | Agent_24 (57) | |
2012-06-03 10:01:00 | ok thanks for this now i spose its 6450 vs GT 520 i need to know more also i knw these are not great choices for gaming they are directed at HTPC but i need to find out which one will be the best bang for my buck cause i only have a SFF pc right now also i dont really understand how that chart worked | jxer4567 (16665) | |
2012-06-03 10:12:00 | jonpeddie.com Personally off that I would go for the 6450. But that's one graph. Seeing as the 6450 is $80 I'd try and find a 9800 GT instead. I saw them new on firstin for $72 about 3 months ago (maybe).
