| 1256214 | 2012-01-28 04:47:00 | Its been a real hassle throwing off the last vestiges of the Victorian prudish times in Nouvelle Zealande. If paying for a root is now legal I cant see a problem. Maybe Mum and Dad should tell their kids about the birds and the bees. A sad fact is some males arent getting any like single people, handicapped people, ugly people, old people. Some males arent getting it at home or they dont want whats on offer at home. Paying for a root should be just like going up liquor store and getting a slab of beer. |

I think that has sorted that question out........ |

Possibly a few are. Fine. But most aren't. They are made to in various ways, or end up with not a lot of choice due to drugs and things. So it's depressing and not nice. |

| 1256218 | 2012-01-28 07:07:00 | Some of those girls work hard. I worked at a Wholesaler in St John's St that shared a carpark with a Deli. There was a brothel that backed onto the carpark and because most of their business was carried out after we'd gone home, we were happy to let the girls park their cars there in the evening. One morning, the Deli owner, a short, furious Italian was raging away that one of the girls had left her car which was blocking the rear of his shop. After some time, the weary girl came out and explained that they were short staffed and she had to 'service' pretty much everyone by herself. Poor girl was so exhausted that she couldn't drive home and had slept over. That's a fantastic work ethic, they all seemed pretty happy - though tired. I can see why people would be opposed, even though it's legal, I mean no-one would want a tobacconist opening up by a school, but to say the majority are somehow forced into it is perhaps a bit of a fallacy. A fair few in that place were Students who had made the choice to do that rather then work at McDonalds. |

Even at 50/50 they would be making a few grand a week . I doubt these are these are the cheap tranny hookers of K road or Papatoe . They may well get into it because they don't have options, but they stay because of the easy money . |

Another perceived threat may be that their kids get a less than 'pure' idea of a future career path for themselves when they become aware of what goes on there. Sure beats the mainstream 9-to-5 for little more than $200 a week after taxes. Then there's the correlation with the drug trade and gangs, whether real or perceived. Personally, I'd feel more nervous about leaving a kid alone with a (male) hairdresser, but nobody is banning the fag stylists to the back streets. |

Id imagine its another similar type of issue of keeping the young ones away until they make up their own minds what to do . I googled brothel keeping legislation and came across this ( . nzpc . org . nz/page . php?page_name=Law" target="_blank">www . nzpc . org . nz) . Councils have the right to make bylaws affecting the signage and location of brothels, but cannot ban brothels outright . Some councils have zoned brothels to certain areas . Some councils also have home based-occupation rules affecting anyone who works from home . It is important to be aware of any bylaw that may affect you if you are thinking about establishing a brothel or working from home or apartments in certain areas . This is from the New Zealand Prostitutes Collective (NZPC) web site . |

| 1256223 | 2012-01-28 09:43:00 | Didn't I read the other day (I think it was in the Herald) that the people most likely to use a married persons "dating" web site - were Christians from Christchurch? I think there was something about tattoes and smokers as well, so fundamentalist smokers with tatts from Hornby must be having some wild parties. | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||
