1278775 2012-06-01 01:59:00 I have Microsoft Security Essentials on my Windows 7 computer and I get this “Windows Security Alert” from Cleanerworrysaferyin saying it detected Trojans and ready to remove them. They want to put up a setup.zip. I was watching Netflix and my computer stop dead in its tracks and this warning came on which it has done several times and I run a scan and everything is clean. I think this is some kind of advertisement which just stops my computer in its tracks? Also last night I get a call from Skype saying my computer is at risk. All this crap is invading my privacy and I have “Microsoft Security Essentials” but I don’t think it’s enough so can anyone give me some advice on how to stop all this crap. Thanks. lostsoul62 (16011)
1278776 2012-06-01 02:03:00 Run super anti spyware as well as possibly malware bytes. And if its still a problem change your Av from MSE to Nod32 gary67 (56)
1278777 2012-06-01 02:07:00 The actual alert sound like a virus to me. I'd say download avast and use that, along with malwarebytes, threatfire, and possibly antispyware as Gary said. Nick G (16709)
1278778 2012-06-01 02:09:00 Get the Eset Rogue App Remover (kb.eset.com). Make sure you get the right install x86 or x64. I think this is what this removes. The PC it's checking I think needs to be online too Speedy Gonzales (78)
