Without buying another radio, what's the best way to play my iPod through it? A FM transmitter? Are they actually any good? edit: it also has a cassette player, but of course unlike a car cassette it closes fully, rather than sliding in. So I'm not sure if a cassette converter thingy would work? Is the cable on them thin enough to be able to be fully shut in the cassette slot? Would one of these work better than a FM transmitter? |

Just tried it in my old Pioneer HiFi and it works fine - wire is very thin and doesn't seem to cause any problems. I got it after having an FM Transmitter which was terrible, may be a bit better for a home radio I suppose. Pretty sure I can remember having a CD walkman and playing it via a tape adaptor on an old school Ghetto Blaster - would have been more than 15 years ago, again without problems. | Contented (15925) | ||

Both methods will effect the sound quality to some extent, but other than that it should work. No way to know except suck it and see. |
