| 19346 | 2001-09-24 09:02:00 | My internet connection works fine about 65% of the time I am connected, but the other 35% of the time my modem stalls. I do not no why it does this, but it means that about 35% of my time online is spent with a stalled modem! This is very frustrating. Any ideas?? |

Have recently updated the firmware and software for it any chance you have done the same? Would be interested in finding out any response you get to assit me with my issue. |

Sometimes I can connect no problem and other times I can connect but the modem seems to go 'deaf', it sends OK but nothing comes back. It has something to do with the phone line. We have two phones plugged into the same line as the PC. If I disconnect one of the phones I never have any problems with the PC's connection. If I leave that phone plugged in sometimes everything is OK and sometimes it isn't. So maybe check your phone setup and see if it makes any difference. Cheers, Rod. |
