19361 2001-09-24 08:56:00 I have an HP pc running windows 98SE. At start up an error window appears showing 'No Valid Keymaps found' It has started for no reason at all and once clicking OK it disappears. This does not seem to affect anything but is annoying considering it should not be part of the boot-up process.
I run a little program called startup cop and when dissabling the Keyboard Manager listed here this eliminates this problem but nothing functions from the actual keyboard,ie volume and multimedia buttons.
Hoping someone knows how to correct this minor problem;well I assume its minor.Thanks.

19362 2001-09-24 09:58:00 Hi Barry, see you still have this problem. I did a quick search and found other people with HPs have had the same error message, but couldnt find a solution.
The only suggestion was to uninstall the keyboard in Device Manager, and re-boot so that it is re-detected again and see what happens.
It could be worth giving that a go.
Cheers
