| 19323 | 2001-09-24 01:19:00 | None of my programs on CD Autorun any longer. I am using Windows 95, and I cannot see how this feature is turned on/off? |

In the box that comes up, click the 'Device Manager' tab at the top, then in the list click the + next to CDROM, then double click on your CDROM name that should appear there now, click settings in the new window, and Tick 'Auto Insert Notification' and click OK. | Guest (0) | ||

This is from a previous F1 help response, so can't take all the credit. Open up REG Edit and go to the following HKEY_USERS DEFAULT SOFTWARE MICROSOFT WINDOWS CURRENTVERSION POLICIES EXPLORER Once in the Explorer foldewr click the 'NoDriveTypeAutoRun' if present and change value to '95 00 00 00' Works for me with 95 everytime. |
