19323 2001-09-24 01:19:00 None of my programs on CD Autorun any longer.
I am using Windows 95, and I cannot see how this feature is turned on/off?

19324 2001-09-24 01:42:00 To turn autorun back on, try going into the System Properties by Right-Clicking 'My Computer' on the deskop, and then clicking Properties. In the box that comes up, click the 'Device Manager' tab at the top, then in the list click the + next to CDROM, then double click on your CDROM name that should appear there now, click settings in the new window, and Tick 'Auto Insert Notification' and click OK. 19325 2001-09-24 01:44:00 another option is to download and install TweakUI from the Microsoft website. This has an option to turn on or off autorun, plus lots of other little features you can play with. Guest (0)
19326 2001-09-24 01:45:00 Go to control panel then system then device manager and double click on CD-ROM.

Go to properties and check auto insert notification.

19327 2001-09-24 06:09:00 Steve, same thing happened to me. If after you've checked the auto insert notification, CD rom still won't run try the following. This is from a previous F1 help response, so can't take all the credit.
Open up REG Edit and go to the following
HKEY_USERS
DEFAULT
SOFTWARE
MICROSOFT
WINDOWS
CURRENTVERSION
POLICIES
EXPLORER

Once in the Explorer foldewr click the 'NoDriveTypeAutoRun' if present and change value to '95 00 00 00'

Works for me with 95 everytime.
