I have a freind you received the following message: C:\>c:\ WINDOW\NET start 3com Fast Etherlink XL/Etherlink XL DOS NDIS driver v3.OF ERROR: Network adapter not found or not responding ERROR: Initialization failure. Driver will not be installed. Press any key to continue He does not have an Ethernet card nor an Ethernet connection...he is running Win 95 Any ideas on how to rectify this problem? TIA, Brian |

| 19271 | 2001-09-23 21:15:00 | Try going into the network properties from Control Panel, and seeing if there's any ethernet adapters listed there, and delete them if there is. Just be careful not to delete the dial-up adapter, if there's one there! | Guest (0) | ||
