| 19398 | 2001-09-25 06:19:00 | I am running Pentium 111 667 with Windows 98se and Micrsoft Office 97. Problem:When I am in word and pull down the help menu and go to open 'help contents and index' I am given a message 'cannot find wdmain8.hlp file' The file does exist in program files under office however this is the only place I can open it from. How do I get it to open from the pulldown menu? | Guest (0) | ||
| 19399 | 2001-09-25 10:16:00 | Hi Wol You might have to reinstall Office 97 to restore the missing function. that is not a big job and could be faster than looking for a shortcut. Have a look on Microsoft's knowledge base too. You never know what you might find. You could also search Press F1 for the file name or Office 97 as it may have come up in the past. Tigger |
