| 19395 | 2001-09-25 02:42:00 | 1.When cutting and pasting the warning 'winword has performed an illegal op. and will close' occurs.It does not happen every time when cutting.Copy paste works ok, but warning happened when i was deleting a line of text. 2. When saving in word 97, 'this file is in use by another operator, would u like a copy? ' appears. Well, there is no other operator.I now have a lot of copies of copies! |

| 19396 | 2001-09-25 03:48:00 | Run the setup program from Add/remove program. If their is a repair option run it. Otherwise do an uninstall, remove any remaing files from the Program Files\Microsoft Office folder, then reinstall. Don't forget all the security updates. Reinstalling takes a while, but it fixes almost everything. |
