| 19432 | 2001-09-25 20:47:00 | Hi there The default homepage on my IE browser has just been taken over and is now sending me straight to a site called trafficg.com When I try to go to Internet options on the tools menu, it tells me that this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. So I thought that I might fix the problem via the control panel, this has gone missing, both through the start menu and from the My Computer icon. Help - I'm stuck |

If it is Win NT based (NT4 WS or 2000) you will need administrator privellages to change your default home page and even get to certain areas in the control panel (this all depends on what rights you have been granted under your login). If you are running Win 95,98, or Me then I suggest a rebuild for your machine. |
