| 19704 | 2001-10-01 04:21:00 | I enjoy playing Tiberian Sun on the internet and have recently purchased a second computer (a PIII 667)which I have linked with my original computer (a AMD 800) using network cards and cable so I can enjoy playing against family and friends. The game runs ok but slowly as if I have the Game Speed on 3 or 4 instead of 6. Has anybody got any ideas on how to speed trhe game up. Are there any network settings that I should know about? Both network cards are 10/100Mbps. I don't have any speed problems with any other games that I've tried on my wee network. Thanks Paul |

The game now uses the ping times from the lobby/game options screen to set up multiplayer timing values for the game. The patch also allows reduced bandwidth in multiplayer game and now consumes significantly less network bandwidth compared to earlier versions. |
