| 19639 | 2001-09-29 14:19:00 | I have lost all my history. What I did was set my date back 1 year to install a time limited demo that I wanted to do a small job with.I forgot for a minute and connected to the net while the date was set back When I rebooted and reset the date to this year all my History had disappeared Im sure its not deleted as u can still search and get some of the pages back temporarily. Can some kind expert tell me where Windows hides it so I can restore the whole 90 days of it. |

| 19641 | 2001-09-29 23:27:00 | It was a demo from 2000 which was time limited for 3 months and wont run after that so to get it to run u set your clock BACK to 2000 hence all your history pages are in the future and if u use the net whilst it is set BACK windows has a hissy fit and hides them somewhere. When u set the date forward to 2001 they are not there but if u do a search in History for say 'Amazon' it will throw up all the pages that WERE IN History so obviously its not deleted just moved and hidden. As long as you don't use IE it doesn't matter cos I did it again to see early this morning and still have yesterdays history page Okay. Won't do that again but would like them back just the same | Guest (0) | ||
