19557	2001-09-28 08:58:00	hi-i cannot keep word open b/c when i do a screen comes up which says 'illegal operation....page fault in module ms09.dll@0167:308c3257' i have uninstalled/reinstalled but no luck.if i keep opening word it apparently opens another document e.g doc1 then doc2,etc. though nothing seems to b open-can anyone help?-would appreciate it! 19558	2001-10-01 10:25:00	Sounds like a curley one, especially since you've reinstalled with no luck. Have you recently installed something else which could be interfering with it? If you can keep Word2000 long enough, try the detect & repair tool on the menu toolbar - 'Help/detect& repair' which may fix some internal problem with the prog.	Guest (0)
19559	2001-10-02 07:51:00	I did manage to get the detect and repair tool going,but still no luck! and no,i havent installed anything at all ,so im in the dark about whats going on.thanks for the help!	Guest (0)
19560	2001-10-03 10:43:00	Looks like a reinstallation of Windows may be in order as it could be registry problems. Before doing that though try doing a scout around in the Microsoft support website database which may have solutions to your problem. Sorry can't be more specific than that.	Guest (0)
